A little about us.
We are located in central North Carolina, in the countryside of Thomasville. Our little farm operation is a fun, educational activity for our kids that also provides sustainability and self-sufficiency. After moving to our farm, I fell in love with the Silver Fox rabbit. These beauties are a large breed of rabbit, excellent for pelts or meat production. They have docile sweet dispositions, easy to work with, are wonderful mothers, and can raise large litters. Silver Fox rabbits also make a wonderful indoor or outdoor pet. They can be litter trained to be kept indoors! The beautiful coat comes in black, chocolate, blue, and lilac all with the distinctive silver hairs sprinkled (or a rare white). It has a unique quality among domestic breeds: no-fly back fur. As you stroke the fur against the grain, it stands up until you brush it back down.
As I learned more about them, I discovered they are considered a rare breed. On our family farm, it seemed a worthy cause to both breed a beautiful rabbit and help maintain this all-American breed for future generations.
